SUGAR & SPICE (…& EVERYTHING NICE)
I love coffee. Like, a lot. I love the smell, I love the taste, and I love that warm fuzzy feeling the caffeine gives you when it hits your soul. I’ve always loved it, from the first day my dad showed me how to properly mix hot chocolate, creamer, and coffee. Now I just drink it black- most of the time. I do enjoy a Starbs. on occasion.
I had found a fun little mocha recipe a few months back in Pinterest land, and wanted to share with you all! I know it’s not fashion related, but who said it had to be? Right? We are in full fall mode over here, and this warm little number is great to warm you up on these chilly mornings!
Please note this is not my original recipe, just one I have used MANY a times.
Mexican Mocha Coffee
1T Unsweetened cocoa
1 Dash of vanilla
1T Sugar
1 Shake of cinnamon
Pinch of chili powder
The tiniest (and I mean tiny), dash of cayenne (optional)
1T Milk
1 STRONG cup of coffee, filled ¾ of the way
1 Dollop of whipped cream (optional, but strongly suggested. ;) )
Whisk together and enjoy HOT.
